Houses are a 2-night minimum stay Thursday-Sunday. If you are interested in a single night during these days, please contact us to check for single dates falling between reservations.

Checkout is 10:00 am, checkin is 2:30 pm; however, we try to be flexible on this when we can, depending on previous night reservations.

We will contact all reservations the evening before to go over meeting place and time.

Regarding Fishing contest or special events.

We will if possible have the houses on the same lake as the Jaycees contest but this is not guaranteed due to ice conditions or weather.

Accsessory Rentals.

If you are renting any fishing equipment. you will have to sign it out when you arrive and sign it in when you leave.

Renters need to bring

32 gallon Trash cans with bags are located outside of each house, Trash must accompany you off the lake or you will be charged a fee per bag.we will provide you bags . however you may want to double the bag with your own if putting in your car.

The Minnesota Recreational Rentals cancellation policy is detailed below.

We value our customers and understand guests are spending their hard-earned money with us on their ice fishing vacation. We really appreciate everyone who puts their trust in us and supports us!

As an ice fishing outfitter, we have an 11–13-week season in good ice years. This makes it very difficult when we have a season like 2024. We are not looking to or want to take anybody’s hard-earned money and not provide them with a reservation or fishing experience. However, with the short season and unpredictable weather, we are moving to a non-refundable deposit but a fully credited deposit amount if the worst happens, and we must cancel due to poor ice or weather conditions.

Without this policy, we may not be here in the future to provide you with this experience!

When you make a reservation, we require a deposit, and you are accepting our cancellation policy when accepting the booking. You will have a full credit of this amount for use on this reservation or another if cancellation is required due to poor ice conditions, or in the event of severe weather or mechanical failure, we will credit you for your full deposit amount without penalty (this does not expire) to be used at a later date and work with you to reschedule this season or a later time.

If the customer cancels the reservation more than 30 days prior to the arrival date, they will retain a full credit for their deposit to be used at a later date or season! No refunds

Cancellations less than 30 days and more than 15 days out, you can retain your deposit. If you reschedule in the same season, however, you will lose your deposit if you cancel in under 15 days or do not show up!
